SUBJECT: 75 Morton PTA Newsletter - 1/13/2023

Folks, we did it! We got through one week as a cell phone-free school! Many thanks to Valerie and her team for making this happen.

We would also like to give a Morton Magic Shout Out to our 8th Grade Breakfast committee.  Thank you all for planning, contributing, volunteering and executing such a fabulous breakfast for our 8th graders!

Before you unplug for the three day weekend, please take a moment to fill out this 5 question survey so that the PTA Board can make sure we are meeting the needs of the majority of our parent and teacher members. The results will be reviewed next week at our Jan 18th PTA meeting. We hope to see you there!

Career Day - March 7th, 2023

The 75 Morton Community believes students should have an authentic educational experience inside and outside the classroom. We want our students to be well-rounded citizens and get exposure to as much as possible. This is why we are hosting our 6th annual Career Day!

If you would like to volunteer to be a guest speaker for this event, or know someone who might, please fill out this form. Filling out the form is committing to the day. We are looking for representatives from a huge variety of career possibilities: engineers, artists, technologists, musicians, athletes, business leaders, writers, doctors, lawyers, contractors, architects- variety! We hope to spark student interest in future fields of work, develop mentorships and possible future internships. Please join us to inspire our students!
