SUBJECT: 75 Morton PTA Newsletter - 3/31/23

Dear Morton Families,

Only a few more days till SPRING BREAK! The Green Team will be working on the roof garden TODAY after school if any parents want to come and help. Please RSVP to olivia@75morton.org so they know to expect you. Access to the roof is restricted so volunteers get an insider peek.

We hope all of the families that are joining us tonight for Movie Night enjoy themselves.  We are thrilled to be able to offer it with Spanish subtitles.  If you are able to stay and chaperone or volunteer to help with concessions and tickets please reach out to the pta@75morton.org as soon as possible.  And lastly to cover the cost of concessions (water, popcorn and a slice of pizza) it would be greatly appreciated for all those attending to contribute with a small donation.  And for those that can't attend perhaps consider sponsoring another student.

With gratitude,

Rebecca Lupardo & Corinne Moreno-Geis

Your PTA Co-Presidents

Yearbook

We're looking for pictures to fill our 2023 yearbook. Families and staff can upload pictures by category using the email addresses on our school yearbook page

If you want to be part of the yearbook team, please email pta@75morton.org. We need volunteers to edit our assets (determine which photos to use), create layouts and check for accuracy.

7TH GRADE CORNER
7th Grade Families

For any 7th grade students who are interested in auditioning for an
arts high school in the fall, the NYC DOE is running a free Arts
Audition Boot Camp
over the summer.  This two-week, in-person
intensive program is designed to help students work on and improve
their materials for high school auditions.  The deadline for the
application is April 28th.

For more information and to apply online go to: MS Arts Audition Boot
Camp 2023 Application (cvent.com)

If you have any additional questions, please contact Hope.

What else can families do now?

·  Make sure that ALL of the information in your NYCSA Account is
correct. In the fall, you will be able to create a high school
application account on MySchools.  The contact information on that
site is based on the information in your NYCSA Account. If you do not
have an account, you may contact Hope for assistance.

Best,

Elaine - Elaine@75morton.org
