Thank you to all the parents & caregivers who joined us in the yard after drop off for coffee and snacks. It was so lovely meeting all of you!

Afterschool Registration is Open!

Afterschool will officially begin on Monday, September 18th but there ARE tryouts for our fall sports beginning next week. You can view our tryout schedule using this link. Please keep in mind that your child MUST sign up for the sport in which they are trying out in order to attend and participate in the tryout. 

Thanks to funding from the Department of Youth and Community Development, THE AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM IS FREE! All students are GUARANTEED a spot, though not necessarily for their first choice class.

New Families Orientation

Sept 12, 9am | Cafeteria

All new families who did not get to go to orientation in the spring are invited to join us for an information session and tour of the school.  

1st PTA Meeting 9/13 9am

Please join us at this years first PTA meeting!  This meeting will be in person in our cafeteria. Meet Principal Cofie and her amazing administrative staff, hear about all of the exciting ways you can get involved.  

Elections

We will also be holding a special expedited election for the following positions: 

  • 1 Treasurer / 2 Co-Treasurers
  • 1 Co-Secretary
  • 5 Member-at-Large positions (2 reserved for parents of incoming 6th graders)
  • 3 School Leadership Team positions (1 reserved for an incoming parent from the 6th grade)

Free Movie Night Under the Stars

Wednesday, Sept 13, 7:30PM

Our councilman, Erik Bottcher, is sponsoring a free family movie night outdoors on the Chelsea Park basketball court. In coordination with NYC Parks, the movie "Back to the Future" will be projected on the big screen. Please RSVP to attend.
