Dear 75 Morton Parents, 


Here's what you need to know this week:


- Tuesday, November 7: NO SCHOOL - ELECTION DAY


- Wednesday, November 8: SHSAT Exam for 8th Graders who have registered


- Thursday, November 9: HALF DAY - PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES. Students will be dismissed at noon (see below for Manhattan Youth activities from noon til 3pm). Advisors will contact parents to set up a conference time. 


Here's how you can help!


- Holiday Shop from Cherrydale Catalogs: Students brought catalogs home in their backpacks last week. You can also shop online here. Feel free to share the link with friends and family. 75 Morton receives 40% of all sales!  Order by November 13th for guaranteed holiday delivery. (See below for more details). This is the LAST WEEK to sell!


- Contribute towards SCHOOL SUPPLIES. We plan to spend $75 per student on school supplies this year. 


- Donate to the PTA Family Giving Drive. Asking for $35/month per student. Anything you can give will be used and greatly appreciated!


- Help us throw parties! If you can help us plan an Ice Cream Social later this month, please email pta@75morton.org.

Girls Volleyball Playoffs

Congratulations to the JV and Varsity Girls Volleyball Teams for winning their first playoff games last week, and congratulations to JV for winning their second playoff game in a nail biting 3-game finish at 276 (Battery Park City School) on Friday! 


Varsity will host their second playoff game at home on Monday, 11/6 at 4PM. Please come cheer them on!*


The remainder of the playoff brackets are summarized below. Playoffs are single-round elimination, which means when we lose, we will not progress further in the bracket.


Varsity:

**The 75 Morton School Store will be selling NEW MERCHANDISE at our home volleyball games, including $25 FLANNEL PJ PANTS and $25 navy sweatpants.

Winter trimester of afterschool is almost here!Using this link, you can learn about the new schedule, upcoming tryouts, important dates and class descriptions for our various activities! Registration opens on Thursday, November 9th at 3:30pm, and we will host "Open Office Hours" from 3:30pm-5:00pm in the school lobby for any families who would like to register in person.


Also happening on November 9th: Manhattan Youth will be providing coverage from 12-3pm for any families that would like their child to stay in school until regular school-day dismissal. If you are interested, please fill out this form no later than November 8th at 6pm.
