SUBJECT: PTA Weekly Newsletter | Nov. 8

November 8, 2019

WHAT'S NEW?

Starting this week, all 6th and 7th graders must use their student ID to swipe in at arrival. The CAASS system allows the school to know who is in the building, it is not used for attendance. Your student's official attendance will continue to be taken during their 1st period class. 8th grade students will begin to swipe in soon.

Thank you to all the students, families and our neighboring schools who donated candy to our Halloween Candy Drive. Check out all the candy that will be donated to Soldiers' Angels, an organization that helps support veterans, wounded heroes, deployed service members, and their families. Thank you to Beverly Buscemi for coordinating the candy drive.

A big shout out to parents Tamara Flannagan-Ditmyer, Rob Lopez, Stian Nilsen, and Walter Usiatynski, and to our custodial staff for setting up our gymatorium's lighting and sound so students can showcase their talents at upcoming performances.
